In this The Wealthy Affiliate Review I will give my honest account of what to expect as I am a member who uses this platform every day to build my affiliate marketing business. I initially began with a free starter membership to take my time & see what all the fuss was about & if it really could deliver with the training, support, community & success stories I have read so much about.

Step 1 – Choose A Niche (Your Passion/Interest)
First of all it’s important to build a business online in something you are either passionate about or interested in (a hobby). This is what is called “a niche” in the industry. As an example if I was a lover of dogs or even a dog owner then I would probably make my niche in something related to dogs.
The good news is that when you join Wealthy Affiliate there is a niche finder tool & training that will help you make a decision on the best niche for you to move forward in. The image below gives you an example of what you will see if you search for “dog training”.
As you can see from the image above the Niche Finder tool has dug deeper into the “dog niche” & discovered 10 other “micro niches” in the same industry that you have an option to build your business about. This also gives you long term options to build multiple websites around these “micro niches” & really scale up over time & earn a very serious automated income online.

Hopefully now you can see that your options are endless. If I love knitting, that can be my niche. If my hobby is painting or playing chess they could be my niche. As you are on my blog now you will see I’m in the make money online niche which I chose as it’s an evergreen niche & in demand worldwide.
I decided on this niche as I needed an extra income & also want to top up my pension for when I retire. So Wealthy Affiliate is teaching me the digital skills to achieve my goal.

Step 3 – Getting Traffic (Building Your Audience)
Driving traffic & learning how to drive traffic (both free & paid) is the lifeblood of your affiliate marketing business. Once you learn & develop this digital skill it will not only grow your income month after month it will also automate your income to earn for you 24/7/365 days a year. Yes, this is where the magic really starts to happen!
Your options for driving traffic are endless. The good news is that if you are on tight budget you can start with free traffic then once you start to earn some commissions then reinvest a percentage of your profits into buying paid traffic & start to automate everything.
Social networks & search engines have become huge driving forces for generating free & paid traffic online. Once you learn how to get ranked in YouTube, Google, Bing & Yahoo & learn how you can leverage platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok & Instagram to drive traffic to your website there is no limit to the amount of website & buyers you can have visiting your website.
